We are very excited to announce that we are running our Summer School programme for maths education this year as well. This is valued by our precious customers, because they could achieve their short-term goals in learning maths.
Who do we aim to welcome on this maths tuition programme?
Students with a lack of understanding and less confidence in maths.
Students who want to perform well in their upcoming 11 plus or GCSE (O/L) exams.
Students who have gaps in learning maths and are in urgent need of revision before the next academic year starts in September.
Students who want to prepare themselves in advance to perform well in their next academic year.
Students who could not attain the expected level in their recent SATs examination.
For how long would this programme last?
We have aimed to have this programme running starting from 25 Jul to 31 Aug 22, Mon - Fri.
Students are encouraged to book the sessions in advance to guarantee their seats.
Each teaching session would be 1 hr and 30 min. We have four sessions running per day. 9:00 am to 10:30 am, 11:00 am to 12:30 pm, 1:00 pm to 2:30 pm, 3:00 pm to 4:30 pm and 5:00 pm to 6:30 pm. Places will be offered on first come - first served basis, so act now!
How many students will be present in a group?
Depending on what day, year group and number of students enrolled on the programme there shall be a maximum of 5 students presented per session. This would help us to deliver the lesson almost one-to-one.
How is my child going to benefit from this programme?
The complete success depends on how cooperative your child and you are with our programme. If you choose to make use of the whole five weeks programme we can expect a very prospective outcome but not limited to.
The skills level of the student will be assessed initially and a suitable revision plan with a goal will be set in place to follow.
They will be trained using various methodologies including revision exercises, revision tests and speed tests.
They will be encouraged to actively participate through maths challenges and rewards.
They will develop patience, focus and confidence in maths through our teaching approach.
They will learn techniques on how to confidently face and perform well in examinations.
This can be a best possible start for pupils by closing any gaps in the knowledge of the early mathematical code: Facts, Concepts, Vocabulary and Symbols.
They will be taught core facts, formulae and concepts that are useful now and in the next stage of education.
We will help them develop their automatic recall of core declarative knowledge, rather than rely on derivation, guesswork or casting around for clues.
As a parent how am I going to benefit by opting to this programme?
Maths is a very fundamental and essential skill in the life of your child. So this could be your great investment in their educational career.
Through encouragement and support, you can increase the confidence of your child in maths so that they may attain better grades in their exams.
If you are available this summer, this can be a great way of occupying them with useful stuff during the break. You will have a peace of mind and relief while they are working towards their good goal.
And you have the chance to coach them with professional and caring hands.
At the end of the programme, you will be able to witness their gain and retention of essential maths skills.
You can enjoy a 20% discount when you consider booking 5 lessons in advance (min 3 lessons per week). We charge very reasonably. For Year 2-9 : £20 / Lesson and for Year 10-11 & 11 Plus : £25 / Lesson. Each lesson would be for 1 hr and 30 min.
Are there any procedures I should be aware of?
When you decide to join our programme, you will be invited to visit our centre and register your child by filling up our admission form and any terms and conditions will be explained to you in person.
